Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) is a free program for adult permanent residents who need to learn English or French.
To register for LINC classes, you must go to a LINC Assessment Centre. The centre will help you register for the right class. Use this list from Citizenship and Immigration Canada to find the nearest LINC assessment centre. You can also call an immigrant aid agency or a community information centre and ask where the nearest LINC assessment centre is.
