: HI Maxim ! Lese genau was da steht : : New residents are not required to enter Graduated Licensing if they can prove that they hold (or have held) a valid, equivalent, full privilege driver's licence (not a learner's licence). : MAn muss von Provinz zu Provinz die Lizenz umschreiben lassen und hat 6 Monate Zeit falls man das nicht macht muss man das ganze neu machen. : Gilt aber nur fuer volle Lizenzen Keine M1/M2 oder G1/G2 ! : Kleiner Tip am Rande : Es gibt hier keine Meldepflicht ! Wann ist man also von BC nach ON oder MT gezogen ???? Na klar vor 3 Monaten !! : : Ich koennt Dir hier jetzt noch eine 5 DIN A4 Story schreiben wie es mit dem Deutschen bzw Schweizerischen Motorrad Fuehrerschein aussieht, wenn man hier in Ontario ankommt. : Aber das ist ein Mega Story !! Habe aber mit BRD und Ontario Ministerien komuniziert und nun nach ca 12 Monaten Fakten dbzgl. Fakten die nicht im Internet stehen ! HAbe letzte Woche 1.5hr auf dem hiesigen MTO (Minstriy of Transport ) verbracht und bin nun voll auf dem laufenden. Es hat wieder aenderungen bzgl der FScheine und abkommen gegeben. : Kleiner INfo am Rande !! Ein Schweizer Motorrad FS wird jetzt neben einem aus USA (war schon immer so) voll anerkannt und kann umgeschrieben werden. : Auch haben sich die fristen der Umschreibung und der Fahrberechtigung nach der landed residence in Ontario geaendert. : Ferner steht im MTO handbuch das z.b bei der Umschreibung der Euro Klasse B auf umschreibung auf volle Klasse G das Datum des Erwerbs der jeweiligen Klasse in den Ontario FS uebernommen werden muss. Das hat zur folge das man bei einer Versicherung hier Ontario ne Menge Geld spart weil das Datum bei der Fahrpraxis entscheidened ist und somit zaehlen die in Deutschland gefahrenen JAhre der Klasse B/ alte Klasse 3 voll und ganz mit. usw.... zu viel um das hier alles hinzuschreiben...... : : : Hallo : : also nicht nur wenn man aus deutschland kommt braucht man möglicherwesie einen neuen führerschein - auch wenn man aus alberta nach B.C. kommt : : ist das lustig :-))) : : bonne chance : : maxim : : New Residents : : Getting A License : : New B.C. residents who hold a driver's licence from another jurisdiction should apply for a B.C. driver's licence as soon as they become residents in this province. : : Non-residents (e.g., tourists) are permitted to drive in British Columbia for up to six months if they hold a valid driver's licence from another province, state or country.
